ABOUT ME
Judit Jimenez Sainz, Ph.D.
Hello, my name is Judit!
I am currently based in New Haven, CT. I hail from La Rioja, Spain, a region full of wonderful people, rich culture...and great wine!
I am an Associate Research Scientist at Yale Medical School in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology. My life's mission is to prevent and cure breast and ovarian cancer with novel biochemical approaches. These diseases are major challenges in the lives of those affected by them. These diseases also impact heavily the reproductive lives of young women.
I want to become a leader in cancer research and be a decision maker in the field of detecting and preventing female cancers. I strive to promote and encourage scientific curiosity and collaboration among all scientists and I am a strong advocate of women in science, a group that I feel is underrepresented.
Please explore my website to learn more about me and my work, my efforts to communicate science to the public, and to promote a healthier and happier Planet Earth.
